PLAYGROUND SHADES AND SHADE STRUCTURES :: Umbrella Design
 These umbrella-shaped playground shades block out the sun from reaching children on your commercial or home playground. They also keep temperatures down by creating areas of shade. The manufacturer designs the shades to industrial strength, so they'll stand up in winds up to 80 mph. (The shades' steel structures are rated up to 150 mph.) On every shade, the fabric can be removed for winter storage using a patented easy, quick-release system. The center post keeps the ground free of any posts that children might wander into. As the sun grows stronger, so does the usefulness of our playground shade structures. They're supplied by Maryland Materials, a leading national playground equipment and services company.
 Playground umbrella shades have many benefits, including

Please note: The various sizes listed below do not cover our full line of
structures -- custom units can be designed to fit your needs and
playground. Also, prices listed below are
for shade structures with quick-release Glide Elbows at each corner (the recommended
configuration for seasonal removal of shade fabric), with in-ground mount (secured with concrete). Finally, the shade height shown is the height of the outside edge of the shade above ground level. This height does not include any depth needed below ground level, to account for playground surfacing materials.
