PLAYGROUND SHADES AND SHADE STRUCTURES Square and Rectangle Designs

These square and rectangle playground shades block out the sun from reaching children on your commercial or home playground. They also keep temperatures down by creating areas of shade. The manufacturer designs the shades to industrial strength, so they'll stand up in winds up to 80 mph. (The shades' steel structures are rated up to 150 mph.) On every shade, the fabric can be removed for winter storage using a patented easy, quick-release system. As the sun grows stronger, so does the usefulness of our playground shade structures. They're supplied by Maryland Materials, a leading national playground equipment and services company.
2-Post Model
This unit features a rectangle shade canopy with
two post located on the hip of the canopy at both ends. Great for sandboxes and picnic areas, because there's no outside poles for people to avoid. |

4-Post Model
The most common playground shade structure. Available in many sizes, with a post at each
corner. This creates stability & offers clear playspace underneath the shade. |

Playground shades have many benefits, including
• UV screening of up to 99% UV screening, and shade cover of up to 92%
(depending on the color of the shade's fabric)
• water repellence levels of 80%
• your playground equipment will be cooler, reducing the degree of fading of the paint and plastic
• your children will be cooler, minimizing health prolems associated with heat exhausation and exposure to sunlight
• your playground shade comes with a 10-year limited warranty
• various color schemes for both the shade fabric and the powder-coated cover on the steel components

Sizes: We offer many sizes of square and rectangle shade structures.
Fabric colors available: Bottle Green, Camel
(plain beige), Forest Green, Midnight Blue, Plain Silver, Red, Terracotta, True Blue, Yellow.
Powder coating colors availale (for post): Black, Blue, Brown, Burgundy, Fuchsia, Green, Orange, Red, Tan, Teal, White, Yellow.
Note: We can design custom shade structures to the sizes and specifications of your playground. Also, prices listed here are
for shade structures whose design includes Glide Elbows at each corner, which is the design we recommend for easy removal of the shade fabric, when necessary. Prices listed here are estimates. Cost of shipping and/or installation of playground shades is additional.
